Madison Bumgarner stymied the Padres on one run over 7 2/3 innings Sunday, carrying the San Francisco Giants to a 4-1 win over San Diego. Bumgarner (4-1) won his fourth straight start following a season-opening loss, holding the Padres to one run on six hits. The left-hander issued only one walk and struck out six.
