Tylenol strength reduced by J&J

Albuquerque Express Friday 29th July, 2011

Johnson & Johnson has pulled back on the maximum daily dose of its Extra Strength Tylenol analgesic.

The company said the decision had been made to lower risk of accidental overdose from acetaminophen, Tylenol's active ingredient.

The change only affects Extra Strength Tylenol sold in the US.

Extra Strength Tylenol has been in short supply in some stores due to articles on acetaminophen, which can cause liver failure if too much is taken.

Labels on Extra Strength Tylenol packages will now list the maximum daily dose as six pills, down from eight pills a day.

Acetaminophen is also the active ingredient in other painkillers.

On that day, Mladic began his full participation in a criminal endeavour that was already in progress. On that day, he assumed the mantle of realising through military might the criminal goals of ethnically cleansing much of Bosnia. On that day he commenced his direct involvement in serious international crimes.
