Confidential Recovery is an outpatient drug rehabilitation program in San Diego that specializes in helping Veterans, first responders, and executives achieve sustainable recovery from a substance use disorder.
On Wednesday, January 11th, 2023, Confidential Recovery was officially included as a member of the Live Well San Diego network at the Live Well monthly meeting. The topic of the meeting was behavioral health, and it featured presentations by the head of the county's behavioral health program and the lead county sub-contractor on Harm Reduction. The goal was for attendees to connect and collaborate to improve behavioral health throughout the community at large.
Live Well San Diego was founded in 2010 to help San Diego organizations collaborate to improve the health and wellness of San Diegans. Live Well connects like-minded community programs to address issues affecting the health and well-being of San Diegans. Every month Live Well San Diego meets to to discuss a specific focus item such as food insecurity or behavioral health, and invite presenters from the county or the community to lead the discussion on the topic.
For Confidential Recovery to become a Recognized Partner of Live Well San Diego, the organization had to demonstrate a formal commitment to supporting the Live Well San Diego vision. Confidential Recovery also demonstrated a commitment to actively engage in four key areas:
