VAG CUPRA Racing, the supplier of the successful CUPRA Leon Competicion and second-generation Audi RS3 LMS to the TCR Competition market, have announced a new partnership with Maximum Motorsport to be the official supplier of TCR Sales and Service to the UK market.
The West Midlands based team Maximum Motorsport has already used the competitive CUPRA TCR in the TCR UK series and is now able to provide a bespoke service to its growing customer base of teams using the CUPRA TCR, Volkswagen Golf GTi TCR and first-generation Audi RS3 LMS TCR cars as the UK's official sales and service for VAG.
UK Customers using these Volkswagen Audi Group TCR machines can now rely on a full parts, repair and supply service to enable them to continue racing with these cars, which remain both competitive and successful thanks to the Balance of Performance used in TCR competition.
Maximum Motorsport Team Principal Stewart Lines expressed his delight in the deal coming together.
"We're delighted to be announced as the UK's exclusive CUPRA Racing supplier and service provider. This shows the confidence that the brand has in the UK market, especially at a time where the UK TCR Series is growing in both popularity and entries."
"Now that we are able to provide this exclusive service to our customer base, this also means that we will be in a position to bring the CUPRA Leon Competicion TCR to the UK to compete in the TCR UK Series for 2022."
"Having one of the latest TCR models in the series also shows the attractiveness of the series and the commitment that we are able to bring to the UK TCR Market on behalf of CUPRA Racing."
