BUENOS AIRES, June 4 (Xinhua) -- Pedro de la Vega scored one goal and set up another to fire Lanus to a 2-1 home victory over Atletico Tucuman in Argentina's Primera Division on Sunday.
Mateo Coronel put the visitors ahead by curling a long-range effort into the top-right corner after combining with Marcelo Estigarribia.
De la Vega equalized by drilling a 12-yard shot past goalkeeper Tomas Marchiori and Loaiza doubled the lead from close range following De la Vega's perfectly weighted through ball.
The result leaves Lanus sixth with 32 points from 18 outings, nine points behind leaders River Plate. Atletico Tucuman are 24th in the 28-team standings with 18 points.
In other Primera Division fixtures on Sunday, Union Santa Fe won 2-0 at home to Gimnasia, San Lorenzo were held to a goalless home draw by Colon and Godoy Cruz secured a 2-1 home win over Independiente.
