Ellen's journey from "Cubicle to CEO" began when she quit her corporate marketing job five years ago...without a backup plan. After landing her first freelance marketing client a month into her job search, she swore off sending out resumes for good. By reinvesting her profits back into the business over and over again, she bootstrapped that first $300 client project into over $1.5 million dollars in revenue by age 27. To date she has mentored over 10,000 students through her online programs. Catch Ellen every Monday on the Cubicle to CEO podcast where she shares successfully tested growth strategies from top entrepreneurs and leaders. In this episode, she shares the lessons she has learned along her career journey from corporate marketer to successful entrepreneur.
"That first paycheck changed my life," says Ellen Yin, founder of Cubicle to CEO. A course creator with over 10,000 students, Ellen quit her corporate marketing job five years ago, and from bootstrapping her first $300 client, she has amassed $1.5 million in revenue at just age 27, in large part by knowing when to pivot.
